Forest Cross

Forest Cross Dates 2018:

Sunday 29th April

Sunday 16th September

All classes are optimum time

Below Classes are BE80 speeds (435m/min)

Class 1 – 50cm Individual

Class 2 – 50cm Pairs

Class 3 – 60cm Individual

Class 4 – 60cm Pairs

Below Classes are BE90 speeds (450m/min)

Class 5 – 70cm Individual

Class 6 – 70cm Pairs

Below Classes are BE100 speeds (475m/min)

Class 7 – 80cm Individual

Class 8 – 80cm Pairs

Not timed

Class 9 – Fun Clear Round 30/40cm, no fence judges

Each individual section split junior and senior if enough entries.

Class 1 is for Novice/Nervous riders for combinations that have not previously won a Forest Cross class, or regularly compete above 70cm.

Horses/ponies are not allowed to enter more than 2 classes regardless of rider.

Correct dress must be worn. Body protectors Level 3 are compulsory. XC Colours are welcome.

All dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Knockdowns and refusals will receive 20 penalties. Proceed to next fence after 3 refusals

If the first member of a pair knocks down a fence the second member should go between the wings if deemed safe.

Missing a fence incurs 80 penalties

Failure by competitors or their associates to comply with the instructions of the organisers, committee, stewards and fence judges will result in elimination
